Polio source- Kailee Whiting

Title of article:  Security concerns: Government postpones anti-polio campaign

Source: The Express Tribune- Pakistan news, http://tribune.com.pk/story/509134/security-concerns-government-postpones-anti-polio-campaign/

“…postponed for the second time this month, after authorities appeared reluctant to put the lives of vaccinators at risk,”

A polio eradication campaign was originally scheduled in Karachi during the month of February, but has not been postponed indefinitely because of security concerns.  A previous door-to-door campaign was launched in December where five female workers for the campaign were shot.  Since the December incidents, it has been hard to insure the safety of health workers in the city.  Which lead to the indefinite suspension of the February campaign.

Hey, Kailee! Thank you for the link. I did recommend an academic search engine, but you didn’t describe your search, so I don’t know if you used one. How did you find this useful source?

I’m sure you must mean “. . . has now been postponed . . . . ,” but think how confusing that little typo could be.

You’re right, of course, about the facts of the case, but what is the value of this material to prove any argument? You’re about halfway to a completed, convincing assignment.
